AWC's Construction Group specializes in the construction of ecological-based projects, utilizing non-standard construction techniques.  This division was established as an outgrowth of the consulting group with the intent to offer clients a turn-key approach to habitat design and construction.  One of our primary goals is to provide our clients with continuity in terms of quality control and quality assurance through the implementation phases of their projects.
 
 
 
 
 

Description of Services


Heavy Construction

AWC owns its own fleet of heavy equipment to provide services such as earthmoving, boulder work, drop structure construction, channel realignment, bioengineering, drainage improvements, trail construction, fisheries habitat improvement stream restoration and wetland mitigation construction.  Our crews are specially trained to meet both the non-standard construction requirements of ecologically-based projects as well as the biological requirements.

Reclamation
AWC's fleet includes hydromulchers and seeders, drill seeders, and other specialized equipment to meet the variety of reclamation needs for different sites.  Our reclamation services include highway revegetation, mine reclamation, planting, live staking, drill seeding native grass, hay and straw mulching.  Erosion is a concern on every construction site and our crews are skilled in the installation of silt fences, erosion control blankets and bales.

 
Landscaping
AWC's landscaping services include seeding turf grass, irrigation design and installation and planting.
